Once, a woman vouched in her illness that if she was cured, she would offer thanks-giving prayers in the mosque of Bait-ul-Maqdas.  She was preparing to leave for Jerusalem when Maimoonah (Radi’Allahu Anha) corrected her and advised her to say her prayer in the Mosque of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) where the reward is one thousand times higher than other mosques.
She was also fond of setting slaves at liberty.  She emancipated one maid servant for which she was praised for by the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Maimoonah (Radi’Allahu Anha) used to borrow money on and off.  Once she borrowed a large amount of money on loan.  Someone said to her, ‘How will you pay it back?’ She replied, ‘The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) stated that whoever has the intention to pay back, Allah the Almighty shall Himself settle his loan’.
