ISSM in conjunction with Birmingham University Islamic Society (BUISOC) have organised a whopper of trip which will feature outdoor activities and jaw-dropping scenery complimented by a Taqwa boost in the guise of small halaqa (circles), the all-important basic Tajweed lessons (science of reciting the Quran) and an appreciation of the Creation of the Almighty by soaking in the stunning surroundings of Lake District.
And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and earth; and Allah is Potent over every thing.
Undoubtedly, in the creation of heavens and earth and in the mutual alternation of night and day, there are signs for men of understanding.
Who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides, and contemplate in the creation of heavens and earth; (saying) "O our Lord! You have not made it invain, Hallowed be You, You save us from the torment of the Hell.

In another first, ISSM has teamed up with BUISOC and various other colleges, to twin the students of different levels so that college students can gain knowledge of various courses from university students who are studying that particular course. As a result college students will be gaining first-hand knowledge on what it would be like to pursue their chosen subject.
